Meet the Human Team

Hello! We are Sarah, Ian and Rowan and we took over the day-to-day running of Cavies & Cake in early 2025.

Back in 2020, founders Diana and Michelle created a unique space for people from all walks of life to experience the fun and therapy of handling and cuddling guinea pigs while in a safe and relaxing environment.

We're absolutely thrilled to continue this rewarding venture and we look forward to welcoming regular and new visitors to our guinea pig paradise!

Meet the Guinea Pig Team

I'm Lilac and I'm a Teddy guinea pig. I'm a quiet and polite piggy who loves cuddles.

A fun fact about me is that I'm the only piggy in the Cavies & Cake herd to have ruby eyes which really stand out against my lilac and tan fur colouring.

I'm Lucky and I'm an Peruvian guinea pig.

I'm instantly recognisable by my explosion of fur! Some days I love cuddles, other days I love to be groomed on the table. I'm very inquisitive and will come and say hello with a gentle sniff. I'm a very chatty guinea pig and have lots to tell you, although you may find it difficult to understand!

I'm Cheddar and I'm a short-haired guinea pig.

I arrived at Cavies & Cake with my bestie, Crackers. I love a nice, comfy lap and will, when the mood takes me, gaze lovingly at my human friends!

I'm Mavis and I'm an Sheba guinea pig.

I may be small in stature but I'm big in personality and incredibly inquisitive!

I like to wander around the table after a bite to eat and sometimes like to climb on shoulders! There's a lot more to see when you're higher up!

I'm Autumn and I'm a black and tan Short-haired Crested guinea pig.

I love staring competitions and lap cuddles. I also like to scale arms and shoulders. I love kale and spinach with a splash of coriander!

I'm Ash and I'm a Short-haired guinea pig.

I have the softest fur and with my colouring could pass for a chinchilla!

I'm fast and inquisitive and love to jump on things I shouldn't! Unlike the rest of my herd, I'm not afraid to use the ramps in our cages so stick around and watch my human team try and catch me - it's great fun!

I'm Pip and I'm a Short-haired guinea pig.

I'm a quiet and gentle piggie. I enjoy my food, naps and strokes. My best friend is Jet and you'll usually find us hanging out together in a lovely pile of hay.

I am sleek and loveable. I adore laps and will wait in front of my chosen human for cuddles.

I'm one of the most laid back guinea pigs in my herd, along with my sister, Harley. I also like to make carrot confetti when cuddled.

I'm Cindy and I'm an Agouti Rex guinea pig.

I've very short, dense fur and lots of people say I look like a squirrel!

I'm a complete chatterbox, especially when I'm with my bestie, Aurora!

I'm Blanket and I'm a Skinny pig.

I'm hairless with the exception of the white fur on my nose and feet. I love having my nose rubbed and, if I'm in the mood, I love a chin rub too! I eat substantially more than my friends as I have a high metabolism to keep my body temperature up. Basically, I love my food!

I'm Crackers and I'm a Coronet guinea pig.

My fur is short at the front and very long at the back. Many people have likened it human hair! I'm chilled out and like my own space but love my cuddles. And spinach. And kale. And cucumber. And carrot. Well, the list goes on...!

I'm Aurora and I'm a Swiss guinea pig.

If you want big fur then I'm your piggie!

I like to have loud chats with my friend, Cindy. I also liked to be brushed but, in all honesty, my fur will still stand up on end no matter how much you brush me. I'm a natural puffball pig and that's how I roll!

I'm queen of the Cavies & Cake herd. I keep everyone in line - including the humans! I can't resist a chin rub so if I approach you, please oblige!

I joined the Cavies & Cake herd from ROARR! along with my sister, Cupid and Mum, Peach.

I'm Lily and I'm a Short-haired Crested guinea pig.

I arrived with my bestie, Hayley, in 2025. I love to chat and if you hold me up high enough, I'll give you kisses on the chin and nose!

I'm Luna and I'm a Skinny pig.

My sister, Seren, and I LOVE to snuggle in our beds. We adore lap cuddles to keep us nice and warm!

I'm Rosalina and I'm an Abyssinian guinea pig.

I moved to Cavies & Cake from ROARR! in early 2026. I love my fresh veggies, especially chunks of carrot!

I'm Thyme and I'm a Short-haired Crested guinea pig.

I arrived all by myself but made friends very quickly! I love to chill out with Marshmallow. Life is good!

I'm Jet and I'm an almost all black Abyssinian guinea pig.

I like to hang out with my bestie, Pip. I love eating Spinach and hate having my claws clipped!

I'm Cupid and I'm a Short-haired guinea pig.

I love to spend time with my sister, Comet. Our Mum, Peach, lives with us too after we moved from ROARR! We love cuddles!

I'm Seren and I'm a Skinny pig. When at home, my sister, Luna, and I live inside with Blanket and the humans. If the humans rustle packets we wheek loudly as you never know if it's going to be food!

I'm Muffin and I'm a Texel guinea pig.

It's been said that I look like a mini sheep, especially when I'm chewing on a pile of fresh grass! Baa-rilliant!

I'm Marshmallow and I'm a Sheba guinea pig.

I have an amazing hairstyle and enjoy freshly cut bamboo. I can wheek loudly when I'm hungry.

I arrived in 2025 with my friend, Lily. I sometimes get mistaken for Ash due to our similar colours. I love to chill out in a comfy bed.

I'm Harley and I'm a Short-haired Crested guinea pig.

I live with my sister, Frida. I'm your classic tri-coloured piggie. I'm the first guinea pig in the herd to start wheeking when I sniff food in the air. I love lap cuddles.

I'm Peach and I'm a Short-haired guinea pig.

I live in the herd with my two daughters, Cupid and Comet. I am a very calm piggie and enjoy lots of cuddles and strokes.

I'm Chocolate and I'm a Self guinea pig.

I'm a quiet little girl who loves chin rubs and diving into hay.

I'm sleek, sweet and I love to eat!
